This is Morning Star UMC
We come from many places, backgrounds, faith traditions and seek to grow toward unconditional hospitality. We are committed to being inclusive and welcoming to ALL of God's children.
The only thing that differs between our four worship services is time and music. Our worship service styles and times are:
8:15am - our chapel service with a blend of various musical styles
9:40am - our contemporary service with current praise music
Sunday School Classes for ages 3 years to Twelfth Grade and Adults are offered at this time.
11:15am - our traditional service with hymns from across the history of the church
Saturday: Returning after Labor Day, 2016!
Please make yourself at home with us and let us know if we can do anything to make you feel more included, welcomed, and connected!
There's a place for you at Morning Star

Children’s Ministry Contact Angie Hereford Director of Children’s Ministry At (575) 405-6041 or firstname.lastname@example.org Did you know that of children ages 5-13 who attend church, 32% would accept and develop a life long relationship with Jesus Christ? That number drops dramatically to only 4% between the ages of 14 – 18. It is Morning Star’s mission to make new disciples for Jesus Christ and we want our kids to be the next generation of disciples. We want them to have a living, breathing relationship with Him! We want our kids to know that Jesus is alive, that Jesus loves them and He is with them every day, all the time. Sundays at MSUMC Our nursery is available from 8 am - 12:30 pm each Sunday for children ages 6 weeks through preschool. It’s bright and inviting for the little ones with toys and games galore and a loving staff to supervise. A favorite of the toddler gang is an enclosed, age-appropriate, state-of-the-art playground right outside the nursery doors. All nursery age children are signed in and out at the nursery. Children’s Sunday school meets during the 9:45 am service for ages preschool through 5th grade. There the kids will meet Kat, and her friends, Asia and Edgar. They’re on a Deep Blue adventure through the Bible. You can find Kat and friends in the award winning Deep Blue Kids bible – and now in the Deep Blue curriculum we’re using. This new, awe-inspiring resource for children includes adventure, exciting stories, science experiments, arts and crafts, animated video storytelling, and active games. These activities combine into a living-faith experience that will help children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today! Mission Kids meet Sundays during the 11:15 am service, in Room 105. This class for elementary age kids will be taking a new direction this fall. Using the Sunday school topic of the day we’ll explore how faith fits into our everyday lives. Kids will be able to ask questions while participatingread more
